economy - Graduates and returnees see salary fall

Recent graduates and returned oversease Chinese saw their salaries drop in the past year, according to research by HR-consultant firm Hewitt, writes the Shanghai Daily. The figures are based on a survey of 800 Chinese companies and 21 joint ventures.
Some returned graduates earned as little as 3,000 Rmb per month (US $360) with a maximum of 9,000 Rmb (US $ 1,080). Salaries for fresh university graduates dropped last year 10 percent to an average of 3,000 Rmb (US $360). In both groups the labor markets sees an oversupply, while there is still a shortage on experienced managers, whose salaries have gone up.
