jobs - China wants to privatise 29 million civil servants

China is looking for ways to privatise 29 million jobs in the government-funded service industry, like education, culture, sport medical care and others, although it tries to avoid carefully the word 'privitise'. Li Shenglin, vice-minister of the State Development and Reform Commission (SDRC) told an international audience, writes the People's Daily, the daily of the Communist Party of China.
The 1.3 million 'units' deal with 300 billion Renminbi (36 billion US dollars) in funds and are getting 30 percent of the governmental budget.
