internet - New boom after the bust

Panlogic, a digital consultant company, published a bullish report on the future of the internet in China, with 100 million internet users of whom 90 percent under 40 years old and belonging to the high-income groups. A summery from their executive summery.
- Two out of three expects to buy online in 2005
- Two-third of the online buyers bought books, one-third computers or parts of it
- Online advertising (in 2003 with USD 120 million 1 percent of the total) grows annually 40 percent
- 18-35 year old key consumer is rather online than watching TV.
