No crimesFor those who still might think I'm a serial killer or guilty of other crimes, here is the proof I have a clean record. A small update for those who have been following my efforts to get a certificate that proves I have no criminal record: it can be done. This morning I got the official statement and although I have to admit that it is mainly based on my own solemn statements I have not done anything wrong, I got it done.

could you please tell me how you managed to get your certificate of no criminal record? I am having a difficult time as I have left China and my friend there has been unsuccessful in obtaining one for me.I need one to migrate to Canada.
If you are Chinese it should be a technicality when you go with your hukou to the notariate in your neighborhood. Since I was a foreigner I had no hukou and I was sent to almost any official organization possible in China. In the end the notariate accepted an official statement of the organisation I was working for stating that I had not committed any crimes and the exact date of entry.
Since I was the official representative of that organization, that was not really a problem; I gambled a bit on the date, but not too much.
