A small but telling incident in the growing civil society in China: its own textile lobby is getting its act together and tells the Chinese government what they want to get out of the international negotiations with both the EU and the US. According to AFX:

Xin Zhong, an expert with the China Textile Industry Association, said that the sector cannot afford tougher limits on its exports to the US, particularly after it accepted quotas restricting annual growth in its shipments to Europe to eight to 12.5 pct.

Xin is not optimistic he says about the possible result of the negotiations with the US.
