Competing in logistics

economy - Europe can be affordable

I have been complaining a lot about the lack of competitiveness here in Europe, compared to China for many products and services. Today I discovered it can be different too.
This morning I got boxes delivered in Brussels that were shipped from Rotterdam yesterday late afternoon. Guess the price? Seven euro per box, not included VAT of course. I was told that it helps if you have more than 500 boxes per month to negotiate with DPD, but I was still impressed.
