economy - Amcham report: missing the textile issue

Amcham published its annual report, according to news dispatches (still waiting for a copy of the report) and it seems in all aspects a copy of the same report last year. Bullish with reservations concerning the IPR-issues and power shortages.
I guess most of my colleagues failed to attend the boring press conferences that go along with this kind of presentations. At least nobody asked Amcham's opinion on the ongoing textile quota argument between the US, EU on one hand and China on the other. Of course they could not include it into the report itself. The membership will be very divided on that issue. You would expect a lobby organization like Amcham to give some guidance to a confused government in this kind of trade issues.
