internet - Getting to the top of Google blog-search

I just had a small go at the new blog-search service launched today by Google and was pleasantly surprised to see my entries were ending up pretty high. Even more, when I saw their category 'related sites' this weblog had a topposition. While I'm doing alright in terms of visitors, I was still missing a few other weblogs looking at China too.
It took about 30 seconds before mistrust got the overhand: are they also checking with my desktop search and adopt their search according to what they mistakenly hold for my preferences. Of course I look more than regular at my own weblog, since I'm updating the bloody thing. Should I trust Google more?
