internet - Picking up at podcasting

Equipped with a much better internet connection I ever had in Shanghai, I might as well start to execute this other little plan of the past: introduce some podcasting here. Skyped today with a few participants at the ICAS4, the largest international academic meeting Shanghai had ever seen. My academics focused on the internet in China and had a good time, despite the profound lack of organizational skills at the Chinese host. Their policy seemed to be to keep everybody out, high access fees that stopped local academics, strict policies that stopped journalists and even no name list with credentials, so nobody actually knew who was there. At least my guys had nice stories to tell.
Might need to look into the technicalities of recording skype conversations again, but a lot of good work seems to have been done already.

Update: Seems I have to purchase at least a USB-microphone. Will put that on my shopping list.
