- Reuter's "poor journalism" on Uyghurs' silence

Michael of The Opposite End of China
takes on a recent short article by Reuters on the Uyghurs in Xinjiang. From his local perspective, he tears apart the article.
This article is poor journalism. It sheds no new light on an old subject, recycles well-known facts, and paints with a brush far too wide. Why am I blogging about it? I dunno.
Maybe because his viewpoint makes sense? One-sided and slanted are a few other qualifications he uses. (Michael reprints the article in full.)
