internet - Ebay China introduces Skype

Only a few months ago rumors emerged that China's telco's would be trying to block Skype, at least its Skype-out service, allowing cheap phone calls to regular mobile and fixed lines. But now the Shanghai Daily reports that Ebay China - partner of Skype through an international merger - is now offering Skype as a part of its auction service. (It is a write-up from Sina.com)
As so often, it is interesting to note what this state-owned paper is not writing. It does mention Skype's China partner tom.com but does not indicate what its status is now. It does not mention the official ban on VOIP and does not say whether Skype-out is part of the deal.
