media - China is the world's 5th, sorry, 4th largest economy
Figuring out how large China's economy exactly is, even compared to others, is not only keeping economists in Beijing busy, also media have a daunting task here. While some media reported today that after the latest upsurge China has replaced France as the fifth-largest economy, the International Herald Tribune is sure the country is already on the fourth place.
On Wednesday the statisticians announced the economy grew last year 9.9 percent, technically no longer double digit, but with the smallest possible difference.
