Wenlou, the Aids village in Lugang

law - An Aids-village gets rid of its corrupt officials

ESWN translates
and (as if he is a journalist) reorders information on the dismissal of three local party official who enriched themselves by putting money for AIDS-relief into their own pockets.
On the night when the announcement of Yang Song's [the party secretary] dismissal was made, the residents of the county seat went into the streets and set off firecrackers like they do during big festivities. People were handing out flyers to passersby. The locals had given Yang Song the nickname of "Yang Ten Billion" because he was greedy for money, power and women and he did not do his job in AIDS prevention.
Is is the story of a succesful impeachment that was supported by 21 out of the 29 Party members in the village.
