Gordon Chang

media - The upcoming collapse of North Korea

Former Shanghai resident Gordon Chang has returned to Shanghai, I learn from an email of the Shanghai Foreign Correspondents Club. The lawyer became during a short time a celebrity as he made a decent amount of money by predicting in 2001 the collapse of China, within five years of the country entering the World Trade Organization (WTO).
For would-be writers it might be a good advice to concentrate on things collapsing: preferably the whole world, but both the US and China as separate cases will also do. You do need to explain later now and then why that did not happen, but then, you book has sold already. I'm sure Gordon has a good explanation for China's failure to collapse, when he speaks to the SFCC on March 9.
