According to the Ministry of Information Industry China has now more than 400 million mobile phone subscribers, writes Digital Media. The real number might be a little bit lower as China never discounts the numbers that are not being used anymore.
Only a pity that when 3G takes off later this year, about 400 million mobile phones have to be replaced. The manufacturers will love that.
