Chinese managers at a factory of the China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) in Zambia denied they shot at miners during a riot earlier today, Reuters reports.
Six miners were shot during a riot over a wage dispute. A manager said the police had shot all six miners and said the wage dispute had been solved. According to the trade union only one of the six had been shot by the police.
