economy - To get rich not that glorious anymore

I was just interviewed and hear myself telling: "economic growth is no longer a top-priority" and "the wind is blowing from a different direction". I do not seem to be the only one thinking just that, as I read in The Sunday Times (picked up by Howard French).
The piece simplifies it all a bit by calling it "leftist policies" and "a decisive shift back towards state intervention". When it suggests that old times are coming back, I would not agree, but priorities are shifting, as I for example noted in my article on the draft labor law.
Now, it takes a while to change a country like China in direction, but the sacking of Chen Liangyu, the abolishment of preferential treatment of foreigns companies, the increased attention for the country side and indeed, the call for a more harmonious society are all pointing in a new direction, not into an old one.
