labor - Dell, Kodak next targets for trade union

After having unionized successfully 62 outlets of Wal-Mart, the official Chinese trade Union is now after more foreign companies, especially Dell and Kodak, writes AP. The All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) has announced it will increase the pressure on those two companies. Other foreign companies have already moved:
ACFTU-affiliated unions have been set up in more than 300 foreign companies since the first Wal-Mart Stores Inc. outlet was organized on July 29, Guo [Wencai, director of grassroots organizing for the ACFTU] said. He said they include Swiss food company Nestle SA and General Semiconductor Inc., a U.S. high-tech firm.
He added that in Jinan the union would start negotiations with Wal-Mart about a contract, still a curiosity in China. More would follow suit.
