media - Journalist "third most dangerous job", Xinhua

When journalists start to write about their own profession, you have to be careful, even when they are sent by the government. Xinhua noted today that being a journalist is the third most dangerous occupation, after being a miner or working for the police. Reuters said:
"An increasing number of reporters are obstructed, scolded, even beaten during interviews," Xinhua said in a late-night report seen on Thursday.
You would expect not the number of casualities as you would see amongst miners, like nine missing yesterday, 28 trapped the day before yesterday with slim chances to escape. That does not happen too often to journalists, does it?

Update: Well, maybe I was wrong. ESWN translates the report of a journalist hurt while doing his work.
